Dr Amrita Dass hosted a grand dinner in Lucknow

A grand dinner was hosted by Dr Amrita Dass and her sister Kavita Dass at their residence on the occasion of their institute completing 30 years.
The gala saw some of the noticeable faces of the city, including IPS officer Sutapa Sanyal, legal eagle Bulbul Godiyal and Dr Mansoor Hasan marking their presence. Educationists Farida Abraham and Aashrita Dass were present at the party too, along with Niloufar Pourzand, head of UNICEF in UP, and a long list of prominent people from the city.
Sutapa recalled how both her children had studied at the institute, while Dr Amrita took the opportunity to thank everyone for joining in the celebrations. Singer Hari Mohan Bisht and his group made the evening melodious by their renditions of songs like Ajeeb Dastan, Senorita, Gore Gore and Itti Si Hansi. The celebrations continued till late in the night, with the Dass’ friends and relatives enjoying the lovely weather in the garden of the Dass’ home which was beautifully decorated with fairy lights and had a theme of blue and white.
